Here at BioLabTests, we are celebrating two occasions close to our hearts: International Women’s Day and British Science Week. As a way of celebrating, we have asked our microbiologists to share their favourite female scientists.
To mark British Science Week, we thought we would give you an insight into the key aspect of our day-to-day testing work. Here at BioLabTests, we work primarily with bacteria, yeasts and fungi. No matter which test we do, there will be a point at which we try and grow microorganisms.
This year’s British Science Week focuses on theme “Innovating for the future”, celebrating the diverse world of science, technology, engineering and maths. Our scientists at BioLabtests took a closer look at existing research into bacteria that can harness the ability to produce electrical energy, the so called Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC) Technology.
